“To Love Somebody” by the Bee Gees

“You don’t know what Its like, baby you don’t know whats its like to love somebody…” Robin Gibb, so fuck you. “Im a man, can’t you you see what I am?” I”m finding it harder these days to not listen to the Bee Gees, and Im firmly placing the reason for my descent into Barry and his Bros squarely on yr “shoulders”.
Do I need to explain myself? Yes? Well fine.

You’ve got my head swimming in synth, singer/hairdressers that have way better guitars than me. They brought me to the marble doorsteps of The Brothers Gibb so fuck it… I knocked. I rang the “Bee Gee Bell” until a member of their “staff”, some dumb moose who I only vaguely remember as Bruce came to the door and had me physically removed from the proverbial private property. Threats ensued. “Where am I supposed to go!?” I cried but Bruce turned his big back. What is this country coming to? Oh well, no need to bitch these days because I’m an adult now, a grown up who sometimes receives Fresh Direct.

Think about where Robin Gibb was at yr age. Where indeed. Anyways, I seem to have gotten off track. Where was I? Oh yeah.

Someone once said that “When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro” which makes sense. Someone also once said that “You should be dancing” and that makes about as much sense to me as any single suggestion ever has. Especially in these feeble and vicious times. A simple word of advice that will forever stand like the bald eagle,
because after all is said and done, you should be dancing.
