Tony Soprano is talking to his psychiatrist Dr. Melfi after she convinces him to come back to therapy.

Tony: You know where I was last night when you called me?

Melfi shrugs.

Tony (smirking):I was sitting in my car outside a whore house while a guy of mine gave someone a beatin’ that owed me money.

Melfi: How’d that make you feel?

Tony: I wished it was me in there.

Melfi: Giving the beating or taking it?

What a terrible loss. I have nothing else to say.

  1. This was nothing short of a trajedy. Most actors could have learned a lot from him. He had creativity and precision in spades!
